Seat cover HAG Capisco 8125, 8126, 8127 For the Capisco models with a standard seat.
Please state the cover fabric and the colour code you want (for example „Xtreme EXR009“). The price depends on the price group of the fabric – please select it above. If you are unsure which group your fabric belongs to, ask us before ordering.
The manufacturer does not take back wrongly ordered covers. Please therefore check the model number and the date of manufacture on the label on the underside of the seat. Everything else is on our page Spare parts and replacement covers.
Original part from HAG (Flokk). The cover is made to order.
Good to know before you buy
The questions we are asked most often in our showroom and on the phone — answered for this exact model.
Setting the chair up properly — in five steps
The Capisco is set up differently from an ordinary office chair, because it is made for moving between sitting, saddle sitting and standing. The order matters: start with the backrest and you will end up adjusting it twice.
- Seat height first. When seated, your thighs should slope slightly forward and your feet rest flat on the floor. For saddle sitting — one leg either side of the saddle — it may be considerably higher.
- Desk height next. Your forearms rest level on the desktop and your shoulders stay down. If the desk cannot be changed, lower the chair and use a footrest instead.
- Seat tilt. Tilted slightly forward, it opens the angle between torso and thighs — the posture the saddle seat was built for.
- Set the backrest height. 39–48 cm of adjustment. Facing forward it supports your lower back; turned around in the saddle position it becomes a chest support.
- Release the mechanism, do not lock it. The chair is meant to move with you. Locking it takes away the very quality it was bought for.
The three mistakes we see most often in our showroom: set too low, mechanism permanently locked, and the backrest used as a backrest instead of a support. Full illustrated instructions →
Castors, glides and care
Castors are chosen for the floor, not for taste:
- Hard castors for carpet.
- Soft, braked castors for parquet, laminate, tiles and vinyl. They brake under the chair's own weight, so it does not roll away when you get up (EN 1335 type A).
- Glides for a chair that is meant to stay put — at a workbench, for instance.
Castors need one minute of attention twice a year: pull hair and dust out of the running surface. Ingrained dirt attacks floors — Flokk expressly accepts no liability for floor damage caused by neglected castors. On top of that, tighten the screws on the base once a year. Warranty, spare parts and load capacity
- 10-year manufacturer's warranty on the chair, lifetime on the gas lift — valid for use of up to 9 hours a day.
- Permitted user weight 110 kg. For more than that Flokk has separate models to BS 5459-2; the Capisco is not one of them.
- Spare parts for at least 10 years from the date of production, for every part that maintains the original function. Covers, castors, gas lifts and bases are usually still available from us after that.
- The warranty is void if non-original parts are fitted. Fit a no-name gas lift and you lose it — which is why we replace gas lifts in-house rather than leaving it to the customer.
- Covers are removable and can be ordered individually. Flokk does not accept returns of covers ordered in error, however, so we would rather advise you once more before you order.

Frequently asked questions about this chair
Does the Capisco have armrests? No, and that is deliberate. Armrests would block the quick change of posture and turning in the saddle position. Flokk does not offer them for this model at all — if you need armrests, look at SoFi, Creed, Futu or Tion.
Is it approved for round-the-clock shift work? No. SoFi, Executive and Futu are certified to BS 5459-2 for 24-hour use; the Capisco is not.
Can I try one out? Yes — the models are on show in several fabrics in our showroom in Geyer. See the showroom →
How does the chair arrive? As a parcel, assembled in five minutes. One step needs a tool: the back bar is bolted with a hex key to 14 Nm — properly tight, not hand-tight. Delivery and assembly →
