HAG Executive in detail
The HÅG Executive collection comprises three families: Tribute, Inspiration and Excellence. They share the same mechanism and the same adjustments and differ in upholstery and material. All three are executive chairs with fully equipped armrests.
The three families at a glance
- Tribute (9021, 9031) — an additional comfort layer for softer, looser upholstery; available in all seven price groups, so in fabric as well
- Inspiration (9221, 9231) — backrest in Space, the dark fabric from Gabriel; seat and lumbar support freely selectable
- Excellence (9321, 9331) — rear face of the backrest in black Plaintech; exclusively in leather, Paloma Soft or Elmosoft
The second number in each family is the model with a headrest — 9031, 9231 and 9331 have an adjustable headrest, 9021, 9221 and 9321 do not. Otherwise the siblings are identical.
Still have questions?
I am looking for a HÅG H09 — is it still available?
Its successors are in this category: the H09 9220/9230 became the Inspiration range (9221/9231), and the H09 9320/9330 became the Excellence range (9321/9331). That is why the articles here carry the note "formerly H09" — under both names you will find the same chairs.
For existing H09 chairs, spare parts and replacement covers remain available regardless — for at least ten years from the date of manufacture, which is on the label underneath the seat.
Approved for shift work as well
The Executive ranges are additionally tested to the British standard BS 5459-2 — which calls for more than eight hours of daily use and up to 150 kg. Within the HÅG range that applies only to the Executive, the SoFi and the Futu. An executive chair is therefore not merely presentable but also approved for long days and for heavier users.
In genuine 24/7 use, however, the warranty shortens to five years, and the cover has to be approved for it — talk to us before ordering.
What comes as standard — and what you save by going without armrests
All three families include: the HÅG inBalance mechanism with freely flowing movement, lockable tilt with individually adjustable resistance, seat-height and seat-depth adjustment, a height-adjustable lumbar support, a base Ø 74 cm in matt black aluminium and a gas lift with 150 mm of travel (seat height 39–53 cm).
The multiply adjustable armrests (width, height and TiltDown function) with black leather pads are standard as well — with leather to match the cover if you wish, at no extra cost. If you do not need them, Flokk grants a reduction of 437 € on the list price. That is the one place where any appreciable saving can be made on these chairs.
