Which Tion model is the right one?
The three versions differ only in what is upholstered. The mechanics, base, gas lift and every adjustment are the same on all of them.
- 2100 — seat and backrest in plastic
- 2140 — seat upholstered, backrest in plastic, seat cover removable
- 2160 — seat and backrest upholstered, both covers removable
Flokk also offers the range with seat and back in ash (2200, 2240) and with a mesh back (2340). Those versions are not listed in the shop — we order them on request.

The Tion needs less room than the other HÅG chairs
Its base measures Ø 62 cm — most other HÅG models, the Capisco included, stand on 73 cm. That is eleven centimetres less in every direction, and it makes the difference in a small study, under a narrow desk or in a row of several workstations. The seat height runs from 41 to 54 cm (gas lift with 150 mm of travel).
To go with it there is a chair hanger made specifically for the Tion: the chair hooks onto the edge of the desk, which leaves the floor underneath clear for cleaning.
On the 2100, seat and back must be the same colour
That is a stipulation from Flokk, not a limitation of our range: on the 2100, seat and backrest are only manufactured in matching colours. There are eight colours of the recycled plastic to choose from — black, mist, harvest, moss, blush, chestnut, crowberry and brown.
The brown is a special case: it is made from melted-down snow-plough markers. Because black and red markers are mixed in the process, the shade can vary slightly from batch to batch — that is intended and not a defect. If you are ordering several chairs in brown and need an exactly matching shade, please tell us beforehand.
Replacement castors: the Tion has its own
As standard the Tion runs on universal castors Ø 65 mm, which suit hard and soft floors equally — so there is no need to swap castors when moving to a different floor. Important when reordering: the common HÅG universal castor does not fit the Tion, it has its own (Flokk order number 125189). Order the wrong one and you get a castor that cannot be fitted.
