HAG Celi in detail
Which Celi model is the right one?
The four versions differ solely in the material of seat and backrest. Frame, mechanics and stackability are the same on all of them.
- 9100 — seat and backrest in plastic
- 9140 — seat cover removable and washable, backrest in plastic
- 9160 — both covers removable and washable
- 9200 — seat and backrest in ash, untreated
The seat height is 44 cm on all of them and is not adjustable — these are conference and visitor chairs, not task chairs. For a desk, one of the swivel-chair ranges is the right choice.
Still have questions?
Stacking: up to 15 chairs — with one limitation
All Celi models can be stacked up to 15 high. On the upholstered versions (9140, 9160), pressure marks can appear in the padding after longer storage. If you leave chairs stacked for weeks, you are better off with the 9100 or the wooden 9200 — or stack them lower.
That is a manufacturer's statement from Flokk and not grounds for complaint; we would rather mention it beforehand.
Glides: the standard version does not suit every floor
As standard the chairs come with hard glides — and those are intended for soft floors, that is, for carpet. On parquet, laminate, vinyl or tiles you need felt glides instead. They do not come automatically; they have to be stated explicitly when ordering.
Because that is easily overlooked and soon shows on a hard floor: just tell us which floor you have and we will add the right ones. The glides are the same colour as the chair legs.
Five plastic colours — and why brown never looks quite the same
Seat and back come in black, crowberry, chestnut, slate and brown. Because Flokk uses post-consumer recycled material for them, the shades can in principle vary slightly.
With brown that is particularly noticeable: it is made from melted-down snow-plough markers, and because black and red markers are mixed in the process, the shade varies from batch to batch. If you want to furnish a whole meeting room in one uniform shade, you should discuss it with us beforehand — with a delivery from a single batch it is not an issue.
