HAG Capisco 8105 in detail
The 8105 is not simply a cheaper 8106
It is the deliberately simplified version for high workplaces — and that is worth knowing before you buy. Five adjustments that every other Capisco model has are missing on the 8105:
- seat depth not adjustable
- backrest height not adjustable
- backward seat tilt cannot be locked
- backward seat tilt not individually adjustable
- seat cannot be fixed
What remains is the saddle seat, the height adjustment and the freedom of movement the Capisco was built for. Anyone using the chair mainly in a sit-stand rhythm at a high table often does not need the missing functions at all. Anyone sitting for eight hours at a normal desk and wanting to adapt the backrest to their back is better served by the 8106.

It stands higher ex works than the other Capisco models
The 8105 comes as standard with the high gas lift (265 mm) and so sits between 53 and 79 cm — every other Capisco model has the 200 mm lift ex works and 46 to 64 cm. That is exactly what it is designed for: a standing desk, a counter, a workbench, a reception.
For a normal desk the medium lift (200 mm) can be ordered at no extra cost, as can the low one (150 mm, 40–53 cm). Conversely: at the high sitting position Flokk approves the chair only with glides or braked castors and a step-up aid — that needs to be allowed for in the order.
What going without makes in price
Considerably more than the missing functions would suggest: according to the Flokk price list the 8105 lies between 441 and 678 € depending on the cover group, the 8106 between 1,072 and 1,644 € — so roughly double. For a second chair at a standing desk, a place at reception or a workplace that is occupied only for a few hours, that is an argument.
